Providers, tech companies to advocate for expanding clinical care at home
A group of healthcare stakeholders Amazon Care, Intermountain Healthcare and Ascension, to name a few has created an alliance to advocate for home-based care services through policy changes.

Demand for home care accelerated during the Covid-19 pandemic, and though regulations were passed to support this shift, they remain temporary.
A group of providers, technology firms and home healthcare companies have joined forces to establish an alliance that aims to make those changes permanent. Launched on Wednesday, the founding members include Amazon Care, Signify Health, DispatchHealth, Intermountain Healthcare and Ascension.

The public sandpit at Ahuriri Beach created by resident Gary Hunt has been removed by council due to a number of safety risks .
The sandpit filled with plastic children s toys was created by the fourth-generation Ahuriri resident in 2019. After two years of delightful enjoyment the Napier City Council has removed the Ahuriri sandpit and proposes to remove the line of rocks, Hunt shared on his Facebook page.
The letter to Hunt from the council notes that the sandpit and rock wall created and maintained by him on Ahuriri Beach reserve land were without proper consent from council .

Get the most out of virtual learning
Over the past months, it’s become apparent that virtual classrooms work well in some instances. Online learning can be highly effective for general course delivery, discussion groups, and study groups. It also allows participants to start, stop, and rewind as needed, which can be helpful when tackling large volumes of information. There are some serious shortcomings, however.
